it has come to our attention that clients are looking for a more efficient, reliable &
professional company to meet their needs.

Our company Jidz Recoveries started in 2004, but we have been role players in the industry since 1995.

Our main focus has always been stolen and recovered vehicles, but over the years
we have expanded into what we are today…a leader in the Vehicle Recovery Industry

We know how important image and cleanliness is to our clients, and Jidz does not disappoint!
Our vehicles are in mint condition, and all drivers are easily identified as they all wear our company branded clothing.

Stolen and Recovered vehicles:

Once the Broker/Insurance company instructs us to uplift the vehicle, we will provide the
following services;
– Arrange with the client to identify the vehicle.

– Provide transport to the police pound where the vehicle is, if the client does not have their own transportation.

– We complete all the necessary paperwork that has to be accompanied by the S.A.P.S. docket.

– Arrange the sapvin number if the vehicle was tampered with and punch the number on the vehicle, sign the necessary documentation to get the vehicle released by the S.A.P.S.

– We will move the vehicle to a preferred yard/panelbeater as instructed by the Insurance company/Broker.

-We are also doing crossborder stolen recoveries from neighbouring countries .

Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Tanzania,Swaziland and Lesotho.

Roadside Assistance Companies

Jidz Recoveries is a proud members of the A.A. and U T A S A. Jidz Recoveries serve mainly the Westrand area . Jidz Recoveries also assist with accident and roadside assistance.

– Drivers have valid PDP driver’s licenses.

– All trucks are registered and roadworthy.

– All trucks are equipped with a digital camera and GPS navigation system to ensure a more efficient service.

– Jidz vehicles are also equipped with the following:

– Jumper cables / Hydraulic Jack (2ton)

– Power bar with sockets to change tyres

– Two way radio system that is connected to our office.

– We have a fleet tracking system in all our vehicles, thus drivers can be allocated 24/7.

Trade Towing / Insurance Companies

Many of the vehicles we have to uplift from towing companies or panel beaters have release/storage fees.

We pay these fees and arrange with the towing companies/panel beaters to collect the vehicles.

In our office we have set up a division that executes this upliftment to get the vehicles out as soon as possible. All our instructions are received via e-mail, and thus all parties involved have record of comunication sent.

Because we pay release fees up front, we invoice on a regular basis, as much as twice a week. Invoices are delivered by hand or can be sent via e-mail in PDF file format.
